Kazimierz Szynol Managing Director. Kazimierz Szynol – Managing Director of the TAURON Wytwarzanie Spółka Akcyjna - Oddział Elektrownia Jaworzno III w Jaworznie - Jaworzno III Power Plant (as of 01.01.2009). prior to taking this position he was the Managing Director of the Southern Poland Power Company Laziska Power Plant (since 01.10.2007), earlier he had been the Production and Ecology Policy Manager in the Management Center of the Southern Poland Power Company Plc. Mechanical engineer and Master of Science – in 1977 he graduated from the Silesian University of Technology Faculty of Power and Mechanical Engineering. He is also the graduate of , among others, Katowice School of Managers, post-graduate Polish-American studies in environment-friendly power industry restructuring as well as post-graduate studies in the Warsaw School of Economics alongside with many specialist courses. He commenced his professional career as an intern in Laziska Power Plant in 1977, where he climbed the rungs of the ladder to be appointed the Financial Director. For 14 years he was the lecturer in the trade school and vocational high school in Laziska Power Plant. He is an avid activist in two organizations: Eurelectric – representing the interests of power industry sectors in particular countries toward the European Union and VGB – technical organization associating the biggest European power plants. He speaks fluently the following languages: English, German, Russian and French. He is married and has got two grow-up daughters. His after work passions include: mountaineering, photography and gardening. |
