Historical Outline:
In 1995, as a result of the initiative of the then Jaworzno III Power Plant General Director – Jan Kurp, the Initiative group was set up in order to establish the Circle the Pensioners and Annuitants Circle affiliated to Jaworzno III Power Plant. The Circle commenced activity in July 1997. On September 23, 1997 the first general assembly of the newly set-up circle members was held during which the below presented Management Board was appointed:
Władysław Kozik – Management Board Chairman
Teresa Wójcik – Management Board Secretary
Zuzanna Makieła – Treasurer
Włodzimierz Piekarski –Management Board Member
Aleksandra Rogoń –Management Board Member
Ignacy Patucha –Management Board Member
Mirosław Chajdaś –Management Board Member
Due to formal and financial conditionings, the circle was an entity dependent on the Regional Association of the Old-age Pensioners, Annuitants and the Physically Challenged Management Board in Jaworzno as the Local Circle no 4.
During the third general assembly of the circle members, held on November 21 2007, new Management Board was appointed for the 5-year tenure with the following composition:

Henryk Miazga – Vice-Chairman of the Management Board
Helena Buczek – Management Board Secretary
Ludwika Bzowska – Treasurer
Marian Szyndera – Management Board Member
Władysław Glistak – Management Board Member
Statutory activities of the Circle insist in the material and financial aid for the members, allocation of commodity vouchers, organizing excursions, cultural and tourist events. The Circle activities are financed from the membership fees and from sponsors’ donations without which such a broad range of undertakings would not be possible. Currently, there are 512 members.
