The rifle range is located in Energetyków Street; it was started in the 70s. Its present look can be owed to one - year modernization. The rifle - range was re -open in 1998. the shooting pavilion has 10 stands from which it is possible to shoot from the following distances: 10, 15, 20, 25 and 50 meters. It is also possible to use turntables (25 meter distance) and a so called "running boar target" (50 meter distance).
The rifle range was officially approved to be used by the President of Jaworzno city. The facility is used for training sessions by the security service of the Power Plant Jaworzno III as well as other security services employed by the power plants which are a part of Fuel and Energy Concern of Southern Poland J.S. (PKE S.A.).
The rifle range is also used by the shooting section of the Sports Club "Energetyk" which organizes training sessions for the club members as well as for the police officers. Next to the shooting pavilion there is a hunting part of the rifle range where contests of skeet and trap shooting take place.

The rifle range has been a host to National Shooting Contest of Energy Power Workers, National Championships of Local Authorities Officials, Shooting Contest for the Employees of Fuel and Energy Concern of Southern Poland J.S. (PKE S.A.), Police Department Shooting League.
The rifle range is run by sports and fighting shooting instructors and sports shooting judges who can organize shooting contests for groups.
There is a special part on the premises of the rifle range with a hearth for organizing barbecues, long tables and benches. It is used for traditional meetings called "pieczone" by the employees of the Power Plant Jaworzno III.
